Shipping policy
Parlor Space ships leisure and wellness equipment through specialized Less-Than-Truckload (LTL) freight networks.
Complimentary Curbside Freight Delivery
Standard curbside freight delivery is complimentary on all orders to the 48 contiguous United States. We do not ship freight to Alaska, Hawaii, U.S. Territories, or P.O. boxes/APO addresses.
Lead Times & Transit
- Standard items: orders are typically prepared within 2 to 5 business days, followed by 5 to 10 business days in transit, depending on carrier routing.
- Extended lead-time items: some products ship directly from the manufacturer or distributor and may take 3 to 6 weeks to arrive. Contact us before ordering for the current estimate on a specific item.
Delivery & Appointment Protocol
- Scheduled windows: the carrier contacts you by phone or email to schedule delivery once the shipment reaches your destination terminal.
- Liftgate service: included at no extra cost. The driver lowers the pallet or crate to ground level at curbside or the end of your accessible driveway.
- Drop-off limits: drivers cannot move freight inside homes, up steep driveways, down narrow paths, or into backyards.
- White-glove delivery: optional white-glove delivery is available only on the Floridian Brand Rebel 4D Massage Chair, for an additional fee shown when you select that option on the product page. All other items ship curbside.
- Commercial equipment: ships crated on standard LTL freight, delivered curbside with liftgate. Uncrating, final placement, and any rigging, electrical, plumbing, or installation work are the customer's responsibility. Please review the Site Accessibility requirements below before ordering.
Missed Appointments, Refused Deliveries & Storage
Carriers bill these events to the shipper, and they are passed through to the customer at cost:
- Redelivery: if no authorized recipient is present during the scheduled window, the carrier returns the shipment to its terminal and charges a fee for each additional attempt.
- Storage: carriers allow limited free storage days. Daily storage charges accrue beyond that window, or if the shipment is held at your request.
- Refusal: a shipment refused for any reason other than documented freight damage is treated as an elective return under our return policy, subject to the 25% restocking fee plus return freight and any charges the carrier has already assessed.
- Access misstatement: if the site cannot accommodate the equipment or vehicle as described at the time of order, resulting reconsignment, shuttle, or return charges are the customer's responsibility.
Site Accessibility
LTL freight moves on 28- to 53-foot commercial trucks. Your address must accommodate access and egress for a tractor-trailer. Narrow passes, low wires or branches, sharp switchbacks, unpaved terrain, or gated roads that block commercial transit may incur shuttle fees or require pickup from the nearest freight terminal.
Crating Inspection & Damage Claims
Carriers cap their liability by released value, typically per pound rather than replacement cost. Documentation at delivery is what preserves a claim:
- Inspect pallets, crates, and banding before signing the Bill of Lading (BOL).
- If damage is visible, photograph it while the carrier is on-site, write "Damaged upon delivery" on the driver's receipt, and notify support@parlorspace.com within 48 hours.
- Where damage is noted on the BOL, Parlor Space files the freight claim, coordinates with the carrier and manufacturer, and pursues repair, replacement, or credit. Recovery is governed by the carrier's liability terms and the manufacturer's warranty. No restocking fee applies to a documented freight-damage claim.
- A clean signed BOL is evidence the shipment arrived intact. Damage found after a clean signature is substantially harder to recover and may not be recoverable.
